Rosalind Yates
I'm a New Zealander who has worked in or for both the public and private sectors, in my home country, Australia and here in the UK. My experience and skills have been developed through successfully managing the changes of employment, home and culture that these moves entail.
All of my qualifications and training have focussed on people and how they work, communicate and deal with situations. A degree (Political Science/Anthropology), training in Conflict Resolution (UN Conflict Resolution Network), the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and recent training in Mediation underline my own belief in ongoing personal and professional development. I am a member of BASRT and the Professional Mediation Association and am supervised in line with BACP requirements.
Using an integrative approach, I work one-to-one and with groups, to build skills, knowledge and confidence. Specific areas include: design and delivery of programmes to underpin change in organisations, all aspects of internal or external redeployment; facilitation of meetings and workshops (focus groups, project planning, programme design). Additionally I work for Relate as a Couple Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
